Armenia will take part in the informal CIS summit, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan said, Report informs referring to Armenian media.
He noted that it is not yet known at what level the Armenian side will participate in this event.
Earlier, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian president, stated that the informal summit will be held on the eve of the Victory Day parade in Moscow.

Meanwhile, the country's parliament stated that Armenia is not discussing the issue of BRICS membership.
The association includes nine states: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, the UAE, Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia.
