Elections for Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic kicks off

Extraordinary parliamentary elections in Nakhchivan, as well as elections for the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have started. Voting has already started at 08:00 in the morning.

All kinds of conditions have been created for voters to vote comfortably and freely, and to conduct observations in polling stations.

In the elections, voters cast their votes in 331 polling stations in 45 constituencies for parliamentary elections in the autonomous republic and 6 for elections to the Supreme Assembly.

The total number of voters in the autonomous republic is 288,356. The number of voters who turned 18 on the day of the election, that is, today, is 31 in the autonomous republic, and the number of voters who participated in the elections for the first time is 3891.

It should be noted that 187 candidates will race for the MP mandate in the elections to the Supreme Assembly. 41 of them are women. A total of 452 people were accredited to participate in the elections to the Supreme Assembly as observers.
