Currently, the international search for 12 (+1) people accused of committing the crime of human trafficking continues through Interpol channels, this was reflected in the 2023 annual report of the National Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking, SİA reports.
It is believed that there are 9 people in Türkiye, 3 people, 1 person each in Pakistan, UAE and Russia, who are wanted internationally through Interpol channels for the crime of human trafficking.
Noted that the countries where these persons are hiding and other necessary information were obtained and relevant applications were addressed for their extradition in accordance with the requirements of the agreements on bilateral and multilateral mutual legal assistance.
