Turkish President addresses antisemitism accusations, vows continued support for Palestine

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has responded to accusations of antisemitism. He firmly rejected such claims and asserted that he would not allow anyone to constrain his convictions or resolve.

"The Israeli administration believes it can silence us by accusing us of antisemitism. Whatever they do, no matter how hard they try, it is futile," Erdoğan declared during a speech in Istanbul, SIA reports citing foreign media.

The Turkish leader rejected accusations of antisemitism against him and stated that he would not allow anyone to "shackle his heart or will."

Speaking at the conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform, "we will not deviate from our path because we believe in God, and no one should expect us to remain silent in the face of the genocide perpetrated in Gaza," Erdoğan said.

The Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform was established in 2015 to support Palestine.
