Russian President Vladimir Putin has presented a Russian-made car as a special gesture of friendship to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, SIA reports citing the North Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
The model of the car was not specified, but it was reported that Putin donated the Russian-manufactured automobile for Kim's personal use. The car was received by Kim's sister, Kim Yo Jong, and Pak Thae Song, the Secretary of the Central Committee of the ruling Workers' Party.
Kim Yo Jong stated that this gift is a symbol of the special relationship between the two leaders and expressed gratitude on behalf of her brother to the Russian President.
During his visit to Russia in September 2023, the North Korean leader had admired Putin's personal "Aurus Senat" limousine. Following that visit, bilateral relations between the two countries have further improved.
