ASAN Service Index Results for 2023 presented to citizens by the State Agency for Service and Social Innovations
The State Agency for Service and Social Innovations, alongside the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, conducted a presentation on the evaluation results of the "ASAN Service Index" for the year 2023, SIA reports.
The assessment of state services continued in 2023 based on the directive given by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 11, 2014, with the decree number 262 titled "On Measures Related to the Creation of the Electronic Registry of State Services."
The primary goal of this initiative is to collect and systematize information about state services in a unified source, eliminate redundancy in service delivery, and ensure agility in administration through the creation of new types of services and the enhancement of analytical and forecasting capabilities in the field.
In pursuit of fulfilling this directive in 2023, the State Agency evaluated a total of 438 services, including 208 services from 23 central executive authorities, 170 services from 15 local executive authorities, and 60 services from 9 legal entities.
The first part of the event included a brief presentation on the evaluation of the "ASAN Service Index" for 2023, with the results subsequently disclosed. Following this, institutions with the highest performance indicators in 2023 were rewarded among central executive authorities, local executive authorities, and legal entities.
In the category of central executive authorities, the top-performing institutions for 2023 were:
1st place: Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population 2nd place: State Migration Service 3rd place: Ministry of Justice
Among local executive authorities, the top-performing institutions for 2023 were:
1st place: Pirallahi District Executive Authority 2nd place: Binagadi District Executive Authority 3rd place: Yasamal District Executive Authority
In the realm of legal entities, those with the highest performance indicators in 2023 were:
1st place: "Azersu" Open Joint-Stock Company 2nd place: "Azerishig" Open Joint-Stock Company 3rd place: "Azerigaz" Production Union
The second part of the event featured a comprehensive and interactive presentation of the evaluation results for representatives of state institutions, followed by a question-and-answer session.
