Georgia has established strategic partnerships with Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Türkiye, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said, SİA informs.
She noted that her country's top priority in global security matters is developing relations with its neighbors.
On Channel One, the minister emphasized that strategic partnerships with Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Türkiye are of particular importance to Tbilisi.
"When talking about global security, we should begin first and foremost with relations with our neighbors. Georgia has established strategic partnerships with three neighbors – Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Türkiye – and relations with all three countries are very valuable to us," the foreign minister added.
She also reminded that Tbilisi hosted the first meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia.
The minister expressed confidence that this format will continue.
"I am confident that the first meeting between Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia took place in this format and will continue in the coming period. We are ready to participate in the discussion of issues important to the region," she added.
