Face of Ramses II reconstructed by scientists after 3,200 years

The figure of ancient Egypt’s most powerful pharaoh, Ramses II, can be seen for the first time in 3,200 years after scientists were able to perform a facial reconstruction, SIA refers to foreign media.

Scientists from Egypt and England collaborated to capture the likeness of the king at the time of his death, using a 3D model of his skull to reconstruct his features. Then they reversed the aging process, turning the clock back almost half a century to reveal his face.

The result is the first “scientific facial reconstruction” of the pharaoh based on a CT scan of his actual skull.
