A Houston, Texas, drama teacher who married a teacherhe was accused of having sex with has been cleared of all charges.
Police began investigating 41-year-old Ilich Guardiola back in April after finding him in a car with a 16-year-old girl. She said they were in love and investigators said text messages between the pair confirmed a sexual relationship.
By the time police went to arrest Guardiola, he had flown the girl to Las Vegas and married her with her mother serving as a witness.
Guardiola's attorney said that wedding led prosecutors to dismiss the child sex assault charge against him.
