Another 220 Azerbaijanis who left Ukraine due to the situation were brought to Azerbaijan on a charter flight to the Romanian capital Bucharest.
According to SİA, 24 of them are infants.
To date, more than 7,000 of our citizens who crossed from Ukraine to Romania have been evacuated. There were five charter flights from Iași and one from Bucharest. At the same time, 675 people came to Azerbaijan by 14 buses. On the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, charter flights are organized almost every day to evacuate Azerbaijani citizens from the conflict zone and bring them home from their countries of refuge.
