A total of 31 anti-tank mines, 254 anti-personnel mines and 838 other explosive remnants of war were detected and neutralized in Azerbaijan's liberated territories from September 28 to October 4, the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) said, according to SİA.
A total of 1,144.9 hectares of territory were cleared of mines during the reporting period.
Demining operations were carried out by ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), five local organizations and one NGO.
