The EU has sprung into action to support Ukraine, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said on Twitter.
"Task now is to end the violence and open the door to diplomacy," he tweeted, once again condemning Russia's military actions in Ukraine.
