A commemorative ceremony dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held at the parliament building on February 25, organized by the Congress of Peru, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico told SİA.
In the event attended by the chairman of the Peruvian-Azerbaijani interparliamentary friendship group in the Congress of Peru, other members of the group, ambassadors accredited to the country and members of the diplomatic corps and members of the public, our Ambassador to this country Mammad Talibov informed the participants about the history of the Khojaly genocide and the Armenian aggression, noting that it is important not to forget the massacre and its bitter consequences in terms of punishing the perpetrators and preventing similar tragedies in the future.
