US President Joe Biden on Thursday held a meeting with his national security aides on the situation on the border between Russia and Ukraine, Reuters reports, citing sources, according to SİA.
According to the sources, representatives of the US administration fear that the current crisis around Ukraine may move to a "critical point".
Earlier on Friday, the White House said that Biden would hold a telephone conversation on the situation in Ukraine with the leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Britain, as well as with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
