At least 13 dead, 70 injured after metro train bridge collapses in Mexico city

A metro train bridge has collapsed in the Mexican capital, claiming the lives of at least 13 people and wounding up to 70, according to the local authorities, SİA reports citing Sputnik.

The incident occurred on Tuesday on Line 12 of the metro, near the stations of Tezonco and Olivos in the southeastern part of the city.

​"So far, according to the preliminary numbers, there are 13 people who unfortunately lost their lives, and about 70 injured, who are being transferred to Brother Belisario Domínguez, ISSSTE, Magdalena de las Salinas, Gral. Balbuena and Xoco [hospitals]", a tweet from the emergency services said.
