Currently, 149 people with coronavirus are waiting in a queue for hospitalization, Armenian Deputy Minister of Health Gevorg Simonyan wrote on Facebook.
According to SİA, Simonyan said the ministry is doing everything possible to increase the number of 'COVID centers' and the bed fund.
"If there is no positive breakthrough in the epidemiological situation, we will reach the maximum of beds in a few days," the deputy minister said.
Over the past day, Armenia recorded 424 new coronavirus cases. In general, as of early March 29, the country registered 190,741 coronavirus patients. The number of active cases reaches 14,287. The recoveries made up 172,096 people, while over 3,476 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen, including 12 in the past day.
