SİA reports that the statement came from Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu in his New Year message.
"We will soon eradicate both the PKK and the coronavirus. Although the coronavirus has affected the whole world, it has failed to divert us from our goals. We have continued to fight with the support of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan." Soylu said.
