One of the glorious deaths is to live on own land, grow old and die there, said Babek Aslanov, a resident of the city of Lachin, a participant in the First and Second Karabakh wars, SİA informs referring to the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
"We must return forever to our native lands, which we have dreamed of for so long," he said.
"Under a single command, thanks to the strength and power of our army, at the cost of the lives of our martyrs, we were destined to liberate our lands from occupation. To become a martyr in the name of liberating our lands from occupation is an honorable death. One of the glorious deaths is to live on own land, grow old and die there," he said.
The former internally displaced person, who is preparing for the soonest return to his native land, expressed gratitude to the president, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, the brave Azerbaijani army that liberated Azerbaijani lands from occupation, heroic soldiers and officers, said he prays for Allah's mercy on the souls of martyrs and wished healing to the veterans.
