"Checkpoints across Azerbaijan's state border operate in accordance with the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. There are no restrictions on the return of foreigners to their countries. As well as there are no restrictions on activities related to cargo transportation," Deputy Head of the State Border Service, Lieutenant-General Abbas Khalilov said at a press conference, SİA informs.
He reminded that foreigners can only enter Azerbaijan by air: "Our citizens can also leave the country only by air. The government's decision to close land borders until September 1 also applies to checkpoints on the border with Turkiye."
