We see that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union (EU) has intensified and deepened. Last week, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, visited Azerbaijan, and a Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership in the field of energy was signed between Azerbaijan and the EU.
The Delegation of the European Union in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Peter Michalko stated in an interview with journalists.
Speaking about the relations between Azerbaijan and the EU, Peter Michalko stated that cooperation in the field of education is also developing.
Michalko reminded that talented young people representing different regions of Azerbaijan participated in the European Knowledge Competition dedicated to the European Youth Year held on July 27. He noted that 555 young people applied for participation in the competition, and 66 of them passed. 14 teams participated in the contest.
