Armenia withdraws its armed forces from Karabakh

"Armenia withdraws its armed forces deployed in Karabakh during the 44-day war," said Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan in an interview with Armenpress, SİA reports.

He noted that during 44 days of the war, several units of the Armenian armed forces were sent to Karabakh.

"After the establishment of the ceasefire regime and the deployment of the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation, the withdrawal of units of the Armenian armed forces is quite natural," he noted.

The Secretary of the Security Council added that the withdrawal process is about to end and will be fully concluded in September.
