The cities of Shamkir, Agstafa, Goygol and Dashkasan of Azerbaijan will be twinned with the cities of Marneuli, Gardabani, Bolnisi and Dmanisi of Georgia, respectively.
SIA informs that the Memorandums of Understanding on the twinning of cities will be signed on July 13 within the framework of the delegation's visit to Azerbaijan organized by the embassy and led by the governor of Kvemo Kartli region, Giorgi Dokhturishvili.
The delegation includes the deputy governors, as well as the mayors of Rustavi, Bolnisi, Gardabani, Dmanisi, Tetritskaro, Marneuli and Tsalka of Kvemo Kartli, as well as other officials.
As part of the visit, meetings will be held in several state institutions.
The visit of the mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze to Baku was organized by our embassy in Georgia in July last year, and a Memorandum of Understanding on twinning was signed between Baku and Tbilisi on July 13 within the framework of the visit.
