Biden nominates new ambassador to Armenia

US President Joe Biden has nominated Christina Quinn to be appointed ambassador to Armenia, SİA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

At present, Quinn is currently working as a charge d'affaires in Ukraine.

His candidacy must be approved by the Senate, which is expected to happen in September.

Lynne Tracy, currently the US ambassador to Armenia, is expected to complete her diplomatic mission in the near future.
