PACE adopts 3 resolutions on Ukraine

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has adopted three resolutions on Ukraine, Head of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada to PACE Maria Mezentseva (Servant of the People party) wrote on her Facebook page, SİA informs.

“This has never happened before!... 3 resolutions on Ukraine... We voted and adopted three important resolutions,” Mezentseva wrote on Facebook.

The people’s deputy said that the amendments of the Ukrainian delegation were taken into account and improved the resolution “Humanitarian consequences and internal and external migration in connection with the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.”

“We call for help to solve the problem of financing housing for displaced Ukrainians, to intensify the exchange of prisoners of war. We urge the EU to give a clear legal explanation on the right of persons who received temporary protection in the EU countries and stayed there for more than 90 days and left for Ukraine to return to the EU territory,” she noted.

PACE also adopted the resolutions “Protection and alternative care for unaccompanied and separated migrant and refugee children” and “Justice and security for women in peace reconciliation,” the rapporteurs of which were, respectively, Mezentseva and a member of the Permanent Delegation of the Ukrainian Parliament to PACE, People’s Deputy Yevheniia Kravchuk (Servant of the People party).
