Intensive combat tactical exercises of various types of troops are being held at the general military training grounds of the Azerbaijani Army with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense.
This was reported to SIA by the Defense Ministry.
The main purpose of the training is to increase the combat capability of units, to further increase the level of professionalism by developing the practical skills of personnel, to improve the interaction of the commanding bodies of the troops.
Another main feature of the exercises with the involvement of the Land Forces, Air Force, Navy and Special Forces, is the implementation of new tactical actions based on the experience of the Patriotic War and other modern wars, as well as its more effective destruction with the widespread use of the system of remote detection of conventional enemies.
Reports of commanders and staff officers on the progress of the exercises are heard, the situation of the enemy and the characteristics of the territory are studied on the basis of intelligence information, the interaction of units is organized with the use of newly introduced equipment and tools.
According to the plot of the exercises, the detected conventional enemy targets are destroyed by various aircraft, motorized gunners, artillery and tank units.
