Azerbaijan plays important role in resolution of numerous current issues, says Putin

"Successes, achieved by your country in social-economic development, have been accepted all," said President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in his congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, SİA reports.

Putin has noted that Azerbaijan has gained a righteous prestige in the global arena, and plays an important role in the resolution of numerous current issues on the international agenda.

"We note the high level of Russian-Azerbaijani relations with satisfaction. The Declaration on Allied Interaction, signed in February, no doubt, will pave the way for the improvement of bilateral relations in all fields by quality. It fully meets the interests of our friendly people," Putin added.
