On May 4, the Central Office of the New Azerbaijan Party and the Baku Youth Center jointly organized a conference on "Heydar Aliyev is the author of state women's and youth policy" dedicated to the 99th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. According to SIA, the participants of the event firstly laid flowers in front of the bust of great leader Heydar Aliyev.
At the conference held at the Baku Youth Center, the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence.
The moderator of the event, Zakiya Musayeva, Deputy Head of the Gender Policy and Youth Affairs Department of the YAP Central Office, spoke about the great leader Heydar Aliyev's services to our people. She also spoke in detail about the importance of the state women's and youth policy defined by our national leader.
Speaking at the conference, Aynur Sofiyeva, a member of the YAP Board, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children, said that the foundation of state women's policy in Azerbaijan was laid by the national leader Heydar Aliyev. She noted that we have witnessed an increase in attention and care for women during all periods of the Great Leader's rule. According to her, this policy defined by our great leader is successfully continued by the President Ilham Aliyev. The Deputy Chairman of the State Committee stressed that the activities of the First Vice-President of the Republic, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva is also an example for Azerbaijani women.
Parvin Karimzadeh, a member of the YAP Board, a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Family, Women and Children, noted that the services of our national leader Heydar Aliyev to the state and people of Azerbaijan are unparalleled. According to him, today there is no sphere of socio-political, socio-economic and cultural life of Azerbaijan that is not connected with the name of the Great Leader. Speaking about the successes of the state women's and youth policy, the MP said that the representatives of both strata are making great strides in various fields. Of course, these achievements are based on the attention and care of our state.
Chairman of the YAP Youth Union Bakhtiyar Islamov said that the main goal of the youth policy set by the great leader Heydar Aliyev is to ensure the physical, spiritual and psychological development of the new generation, to identify talented young people and their contribution to the country's future. He stressed that as a result of the purposeful policy of President Ilham Aliyev, young people with a high intellectual level, a sense of patriotism and national thinking have been formed in Azerbaijan. Islamov noted that the Azerbaijani youth made history in the 44-day war with great courage.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Baku Youth Center Arzu Azizova spoke about the importance of youth development programs. She also informed about the projects and events implemented by the Baku Youth Center in this direction.
At the end of the conference, a documentary film "Unforgettable Day" dedicated to the life and work of great leader Heydar Aliyev was shown.
