On April 19-21, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Military Affairs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Maharram Aliyev, and Head of the State Border Service (SBS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev visited military units and units of separate border divisions "Gubadli" and "Gazakh" of the Border Troops of the State Border Service, the press center of the State Border Service told SİA.
During the visit, the fulfillment of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev on the creation of the necessary infrastructure of border defense and security on the state border with Armenia after the restoration of the territorial integrity of our country was verified.
During the visit, M. Aliyev and E. Guliyev observed the tactical exercises of the State Border Service in the field training center.

It was noted that over the past year, 19 new military units were created in the liberated territories, more than 100 border combat points began to operate.
