On April 12, 2022, political consultations were held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic in the format of a video conference.
According to the Foreign Ministry's press service, the Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, and the Kyrgyz delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Aybek Moldogaziyev. During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues on the agenda of bilateral relations, including the expansion of cooperation in political, economic and humanitarian spheres. In addition, the sides exchanged views on the development of cooperation within regional and international organizations. The importance of mutual visits and meetings in terms of developing bilateral cooperation was stressed.
