The date of the parliamentary elections in Australia has been announced
Australian parliamentary elections will be held on May 21. The Age newspaper quoted Prime Minister Scott Morrison as saying after a meeting with Governor-General David Hurley.
Speaking from the Canberra House of Commons, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said elections to the House of Representatives and Senate were scheduled for Saturday, May 21.
The Prime Minister called on his compatriots to support the Australian Liberal Party in the upcoming elections, noting that "there is no place for risk" in the current economic situation.
