Serious steps will be taken to conclude a peace agreement - DEPUTY ANNOUNCED

"A meeting between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia will take place today in Brussels. The meeting will be moderated by the President of the European Union," MP Tahir Karimli told SIA.

According to him, it is not accidental that on the eve of the meeting, the US Secretary of State contacted both leaders: "The moderation of the European Union shows that the OSCE has become worthless. The Armenian side formally accepted Azerbaijan's proposal consisting of 5 items. Nevertheless, rallies are being held in Armenia, and protests are growing day by day.

Azerbaijan and the European Union have fruitful cooperation. There is a trend in the world. The United States has refused to help Nagorno-Karabakh. It has also reduced its aid to Armenia. These trends are only in favor of Azerbaijan. As Armenia is not an independent state, it has serious implications. I think that the Working Group can be established again.

Given the important role of a strong state like the European Union and the United States, this meeting will not be in vain. "Azerbaijan's proposals will be accepted and serious steps will be taken to conclude a peace agreement."
