General Director of "AzeriGas" Public Union (PU) Ruslan Aliyev announced the cause of the explosion at a nightclub in Baku, SİA reports.
"A powerful explosion took place in a nightclub located at 9 Tarlan Aliyarbayov Street, Sabail District.
The incident occurred due to the explosion of a propane gas cylinder," Ruslan Aliyev said.
He said that the supply of natural gas in the area has been suspended for security reasons.
