Azerbaijan commemorates memory of 20 January martyrs with a minute of silence

The memory of the 20 January martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence throughout Azerbaijan today at 12:00 on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the January 20 tragedy, SİA reports.

Ships, cars, and trains sounded in this regard.

Notably, on the night of January 19-20, 1990, the Soviet army entered the city of Baku and brutally shot the civilian population. As a result, 131 people were killed, 744 were injured and 841 were illegally arrested.
