General: “Enemy thought that it would get back territories that Azerbaijan liberated in April battles”
“Remembrance day was held yesterday, and "Victory Day" holiday awaits our country ahead. Azerbaijani people did not have such a calendar so far,” said Major General Bakir Orujov, SİA reports.
According to him, our army advanced every day for 44 days: “The enemy was sure that they had high heights, and Azerbaijani Army was not able to win. They even thought that they would get back the territories that Azerbaijan liberated from the occupation in April 2016. However, our army broke barriers, took over heights, and won.”
