"Azerbaijan is ready to normalize relations with the neighboring country on the basis of the principles of international law," Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told a meeting with his Finnish counterpart Pekka Haavisto, SİA informs.
The minister spoke in detail about the latest situation in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories following the 44-day second Karabakh war, the large-scale intentional destructions committed by Armenia in these areas, the destruction of historical and cultural heritage, the damage inflicted to the environment, as well as the threat of landmines.
He noted that despite the aggressive policy pursued against Azerbaijan for decades, Azerbaijan is ready to normalize relations with the neighboring country on the basis of the principles of international law.
