Turkey is fighting not only for its own security but also for the peace, serenity and safety of friendly and brotherly countries, Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said, SİA reports.
"We attach great importance to security in the Caucasus. We attach great importance to the restoration of peace and stability in this region. During the 44-day war, our dear brother Azerbaijan liberated its occupied lands that had been under occupation for 30 years. Turkey will continue to stand by its Azerbaijani brothers following the 'one nation, two states' concept," he stressed.
