On August 5, 2021, a phone conversation has been held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, the press service of the Azerbaijani MFA told SİA.
The ministers have exchanged their views on the issues about the current situation regarding the wildfires in Turkey, operations to extinguish fires and prevent their spread to large areas, participation of Azerbaijani firefighters in these operations.
evlu Cavusoglu has expressed his gratitude for Azerbaijan’s support to Turkey in the extinguishing wild fires.
Jeyhun Bayramov has repeatedly noted that Azerbaijan always stands by Turkey and ready to provide Turkey with any support in these difficult days
