On June 8, an intelligence-sabotage group of the Armenian Armed Forces using unfavorable weather conditions in the Lachin field of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border entered our territory, the Ministry of Defence told SİA.
As a result of the vigilance of the units of the Azerbaijani Army located in this direction a member of the group, serviceman Artur Kartanyan was detained. Other members of the group withdrew and left the area.

According to preliminary investigations, the task of the enemy's reconnaissance and sabotage group was to mine Azerbaijani territories. The information about the detained member of the group is being clarified.
