“Territories , liberated from the occupation, have been mined, this will be the most serious problem for the restoration process and returning of the people", said Turkish Permanent Representative to the OIC Mehmet Metin Eker at the press conference regarding the results of the visit of countries including in the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation( OIC) Contact Group on the aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan.
Mehmet Metin Eker noted that Armenia has not yet given the maps of the mined areas: “OIC can make a call in this direction, we will conduct discussions regarding this during the preparation of the report on the results of the visit. By increasing international pressure on Armenia, these maps can be provided. Even if the Armenians do not provide maps, it is important to clear the mined areas. We will keep this issue on the agenda”.
