NATO should be a platform for political dialogue between the West and its sympathizers against countries such as Russia and China.
SİA reports that the statement came from NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg.
"In order to prevent countries like Russia and China that do not share our values, we must expand political and practical dialogue with like-minded countries around the world," he said.
Stoltenberg added that the alliance will adopt a relevant strategic concept in 2021.
Earlier, the Pentagon said that Russia posed a threat to NATO countries.
