On January 9-12, 2021, the Agency was informed about the discovery of shells in Agjabadi, Agdam, Dashkasan, Fuzuli, Goranboy, Gubadli, Zangilan, Tartar, Yevlakh regions and Shusha city by the Ministry of Internal Affairs ″ 102 ″ Service Call Center - 14 ( fourteen) and 2 (two) from the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, ANAMA reports.
Based on 16 callout, the Agency's special mobile operational teams together with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out 44 operational and emergency visits. During the search operations, 126 pieces of unexploded ordnance (UXO), 3 pieces of bomblets, 6 pieces of anti-personnel mines, 47 pieces of anti-tank mines, 19 pieces of anti-tank mine fuses, 10,752 pieces of small arms ammunition of various calibers, 1 piece of PKA weapon and 38 parts of exploded shells were found.
The Agency's disposal team destroyed 112 pieces of unexploded ordnance (UXO), and 602 pieces of mines. Mine Risk Education specialists conducted mine risk education sessions and safety instructions among 84 165 civilians.
In general, from September 27, 2020 to January 12, 2021, ANAMA executed 1 886 special operational emergency field visits in response to 2 310 signals (operational calls). Operations took place in the residential areas near the oil pipeline, territory of Mingachevir TPP, Southern Caucasus Pipeline (SCP), arable and pasture areas, roadsides, forests, schools in Aghdam, Agdash, Agjabadi, Barda, Beylagan, Bilasuvar, Jabrayil, Goranboy, Goygol, Naftalan, Kurdemir, Fuzuli, Tartar, Tovuz, Shamkir, Hajigabul, Zardab, Khizi, Khojavend, Oghuz, Gebele districts, Ganja, Shusha and Mingachevir cities. Operations resulted with discovery of 2 772 pieces unexploded ordnance (UXO), 4 571 pieces of anti-personnel mines, 1 604 pieces of anti-tank mines, 1 934 pieces of anti-tank mine explosive fuses, 77 pieces of detonators, 1 444 pieces of 9N235 type bomblets (cluster munitions), 35 267 pieces of small arms amunitions of various calibers, 2 pieces of gas-grenades, 5 968 grams of black gunpowder, 275 kg plastic explosives, 150 kg amonium-nitrate explosives, 100 m of tubular explosive load, 27 pieces of meteorological radio direction detectors for military purposes, 7 pieces of drones (destroyed), 2 pieces missiles' schemes and 2 006 pieces of exploded missile parts.
