“The pre-election campaign of the registered candidates to the Azerbaijani Parliament started on January 17. The pre-election campaign covers the period from January 17 to February 8 at 08:00”, the member of the Central Election Commision (CEC) Gabil Orujuv told secki-2020.az.
It should be noted that 1623 candidates have been registered so far. It is a record compared to the previous parliamentary elections.
According to CEC Official, there is a strong political will in Azerbaijan and persons with passive voting rights are willing to benefit ftom this conditions.
“The election process is carried out in accordance with legislative requirements. I believe that the voting, which is the main stage of the election process, would also be implemented in compliance with the requirements of the legislation”, Orujov stated.
