The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will send an observation mission for the Azerbaijani parliamentary elections to be held on February 9”, Head of the CIS Observer Mission Headquarters Yevgeny Kozyak told secki-2020.az.
According to him, the election process in Azerbaijan will be monitored by more than 250 CIS observers.
“The long-term observation mission will arrive in Azerbaijan on January 18 and stay operational until February 10. A short-term mission is expected to come a day before the election”, Kozyak said.
Note, according to the order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament are scheduled for February 9, 2020.
