According to expert, Azerbaijan has strategic importance beside cooperation with the Russian Federation in the foreign policy of our state. "Today, the leaders of both countries - President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin also work for deepen these relations and broaden economic, trade ties successfully, and increase dynamic development.
Political expert stressed that, Azerbaijan and Russia support each other in the international area. Therefore, during the meetings of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva in Moscow were held a discussion and come to conclusion about these issues. "The presentation of the Russian Order of Friendship to Mehriban Aliyeva by Vladimir Putin proved the high level of relations between Moscow and Baku."
Guliyev noted that as V. Putin said, the preservation of the regard to Russian language and culture in Azerbaijan is one of the factors underlying this high level criteria. " Mehriban Aliyeva emphasized that, Moscow was native city for her because she was in Moscow during her educational years and therefore it will influence positively current situation."
Expert underlined that, during the official visit to Moscow, Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitri Medvedev and Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko. "Thus, the First Vice President of Azerbaijan attended at the opening ceremony of the newly renovated "Azerbaijan" Pavilion at the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy and these facts are all about the high level of relations with Russia."
Certainly, we believe in the visit of the First Vice-President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva to Moscow will further strengthen these relations. In general, the role and significance of Azerbaijan's power in Russia and in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries will be further comprehended.
