"The Republic of Azerbaijan puts significant signature in the political history of the modern world and this signature is a model for future generations." Editor-in-chief of ''SAS'' newspaper and political expert Bahruz Guliyev told Olaylar.az while commenting on the successful policy of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to expert, recently Azerbaijan has assumed the chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement, which unites 120 countries. This fact proves that, presiding over such a prestigious international organization is one of the highest appreciations given to our country.
''Certainly, priority issues are in the centre of the world community and during XVIII Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement President Ilham Aliyev stressed that, all members of the organization, including Azerbaijan, should increase their efforts to obey the norms and principles of international law.It was also noted that, during the chairmanship in the Non-Aligned Movement Azerbaijan will endevour for establishing and developing of dialogues in the other organizations and expanding the geography of cooparations.''
He emphasized that, if we only analyze such a necessary principle, we can conclude that, the development of economic cooperation is absolutely vital for Azerbaijan within the framework of NAM . Obviously, it does not only prove that, Azerbaijan is a stable and prosperous country, but also it demonstrates that, Azerbaijan has a dynamic economic development in the various areas.
As the Head of State notes, Azerbaijani has given humanitarian and technical assistance to more than 90 countries since 2005. Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) implements projects in various countries such as, poverty reduction, science, culture, health, development of information technology, water efficiency, grant programs, and etc. In addition, Azerbaijan will have its own contribution during the chairmanship to Non-Aligned Movement. It was noted that, Members particularly Azerbaijan , will make great efforts to achieve positive results about Climate Change, Migration, Refugee Problems, Ensuring World Peace and Security, Fighting Transnational Crime and etc, expert said.
''It is not in vain that, guests expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev, government and people of Azerbaijan for the excellent organization and the hospitality shown to the delegations.It is a great confidence and high trust shown to our state by the international community.''
Bahrul Guliyev underlined that, the Head of State stressed that, only clean gas and hydroelectric power stations are used in Azerbaijan for electricity generation and according to Davos World Economic forum Azerbaijan comes second in the world in terms of population’s access to electricity.İt is based on the undeniable facts that, Azerbaijan doesn't only improve in the economic, energy etc. areas but also it has already elapsed to the cosmic improvement phase. İt is reality possessing in high position of Azerbaijan as an energy security provider in the reputable organizations.
It is also fact that, our people and international organizations support the internal and foreign policy of President Ilham Aliyev.
