"Although the Executive Power of Baku permit a group led by Ali Kerimli to organize a rally, they refused from the proposed place and violated the law of the Freedom of Assembly Act." MP Elman Mammadov told SIA.
He said that, the main issue is the protection of public tranquility in any public event: “It is important to think of the security of inhabitants, tourists and workers in this area. Although the radical opposition has been warned many times that it is impossible to hold a rally in this area, they have ignored it and still tried to do what they want. ”
The deputy said that, the radical oppositions are not able to understand that not only they, but not any citizen, can violate the requirements of the law:. Regulations are for everyone and every citizen must comply it.
E. Mammadov believes that, the aim of the radical opposition's was to create conflicts, disturbances. Apparently, they had been given such an assignment from foreign supporter. The aim is to undermine stability in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani citizens have already seen it in the early 1990s. But today in our country the law are seriously protected. Rights of Azerbaijan citizens are protected by law. But no one is allowed to violate them. If anyone break the law, it will be prevented by the relevant authorities and those citizens will be brought to justice. ”
