Pakistan Parliament dismisses no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan
Pakistan’s Parliament has dismissed the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan due to “foreign interference”, SİA reports citing BBC.
The National Assembly deputy speaker dismissed the move against Khan on Sunday, saying it went against Article 5 of the Constitution.
Parliament's deputy speaker refused to hold a vote on the motion which the PM was expected to lose.
Note that Mr Khan has alleged the attempt against him is part of an international conspiracy orchestrated by the US.
