Madonna will direct and co-write her own film biopic after weeks of teasing the project on her Instagram.
SİA reports citing foreign media that the pop icon is writing the film’s script with Oscar winner Diablo Cody, best known for her screenplays for Juno and Jennifer’s Body.
“I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer – a human being, trying to make her way in this world,” Madonna, 62, said in a statement. “The focus of this film will always be music. Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive.”
