Spanish actor Antonio Banderas said on Tuesday that he has recovered from a disease caused by a new type of coronavirus, SİA reports citing TASS.
“After 21 days of disciplined adherence to quarantine, I can now say that today I have overcome the COVID-19 infection. I have recovered. My thoughts are directed to those who are less fortunate than me, and to those who have suffered more than I,” wrote the actor on his Twitter. He also wished strength to everyone who continues to fight the disease caused by the new coronavirus.
Note that on August 10, Banderas announced that he had contracted a new coronavirus infection. At the same time, the actor added that his health was “relatively good.”
