Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva met with the Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan during her visit to Vietnam.
Leyla Aliyeva conveyed the greetings of the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva to Vo Thi Anh Xuan and expressed confidence that the meetings and discussions held during the visit would contribute to the further development of relations.
During the conversation, it was noted that cooperation and political dialogue have intensified following mutual visits by the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Vietnam.
In addition to interstate diplomatic relations, the importance of people-to-people connections was emphasized, including cooperation at the non-governmental level.
It was noted that a series of meetings were held at the Hanoi College of Trade and Tourism and at a secondary school for visually impaired children, and projects in education, social protection, and environmental protection will continue.
The meeting also focused on cooperation in developing the tourism potential of both countries, implementing exchange programs covering various fields, and organizing events to promote closer familiarity with the culture of the two countries.
